Agile methods radically change the way software product development professionals looks at quality. Implications exist for people, time, and process: For everyone in the organization: from team members of all roles, to stakeholders, to organizational groups external to development. For timing – making quality assurance a major focus from the beginning of a project through the end of life of a product. For process – aspects of quality assurance are pervasive. Being agile may require that everyone revisit how we understand and ensure quality.
