As an organization transitions to automated testing, many technical and organizational obstacles need to be overcome. Our October speaker was at “the tip of the spear” for his company’s test automation initiative. Join us as he shares his recent experience in building a GUI automation solution from scratch using AutoIT. A plan will be outlined that can be applicable whether your GUI automation projects has yet to start or you are working to improve legacy automation code. He will also share what worked, what didn’t, what needed to be changes and what arms needed to be twisted to make this initiative successful. AutoIT is a freeware BASIC-like scripting language designed for automating the Windows GUI and general purpose scripting.
