Quality from a CIO’s Perspective

The role of the CIO in today’s companies are changing and evolving. How do current trends in IT impact quality and the CIO’s relationship with IT QA? Joe will discuss the CIO’s perspective of Quality Assurance and explore how that view differs depending on the size and type of the organization, as well as the maturity of its IT function. By drawing on his own experience and prevailing industry thought, Joe will provide practical advice for the QA practitioner to add value to his/her organization from the CIO’s perspective.

About the Speaker

Joe Desuta has been an IT leader for the last 15 years. During that time, Mr. Desuta has been the Information Officer for Ditech/GMAC, and has had IT management roles at industry leaders such as The Irvine Company and Howard Hanna Real Estate. He has also provided IT Management consulting services for companies across the US. Known for bringing a creative flair to CIO role, he has created award winning, innovative applications in the real estate industry. Mr. Desuta earned both an MBA and a Master’s in Management of Information Systems, as well as a BA in Business and Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
